Do you realize that every birth certificate is an abstract? Here is the CDC U.S. STANDARD CERTIFICATE OF LIVE BIRTH. This is the information that the hospital sends to the state. Note that there are two pages of information that are for administrative purposes and never appears on the Birth Certificate.

Lj, I'm not sure what talking points you are talking about.

Regardless of the veracity of any birth documents presented by the administration, the possible loss or surrender of US citizenship at a later date would be a possible issue as well, especially with the lack of documentation at that level.

And, regardless of calling us all "Birthers", the issue is about Natural Born Citizenship and Constitutional eligibility, not just about his birth certificate.

He has led a convoluted and principally undocumented life, one which calls to question his qualifications, and which is singularly lacking in documentation.

So, even if the 'document' the White House presented was the genuine original long form certificate, and delivered by a squadron of Angels right in the midst of the Mall in broad daylight in full televised view of all humanity, it still would not mean he is Constitutionally eligible. There are far more questions to be answered and a great number of sealed or unavailable documents to be produced before I would ever be convinced, for what that is worth.

I have no doubt that his performance has transcended the bounds of mere incompetence and moved into the realm of either stellar stupidity or malign intent. That alone is prima facie reason to make sure he is not reelected. Ineligibility would be cause for nullifying many of the instruments of the damage he has done without the tedious process of ferreting out every edict, regulation, rulemaking promulgated under his direction and as a result of legislation he approved, although there is going to be a bunch of that before the disseminated rot can be excised from our Republic.
