SCOTUS won’t address the issue and all the courts have punted on the issues based on ‘no standing.’ 9th Circuit is hearing some arguments but likely that’s just a headline, “Birther’s Case Thrown Out” move as they are leftists.
I’m hoping Trump or Jindal or Rubio file for Declaratory Judgment and ask the Courts — going all the way up — “Can we run or not? Define NBC.” All three would have standing as they are potential candidates and have similar parental citizenship issues. Trump seems to be the one most likely to do this.

The related passage from Vattel’s book on the Law of Nations reads as follows;

The society is supposed to desire this, in consequence of what it owes to its own preservation; and it is presumed, as matter of course, that each citizen, on entering into society, reserves to his children the right of becoming members of it. The country of the fathers is therefore that of the children; and these become true citizens merely by their tacit consent.
