Personally, I think that businesses should just abandon the MSM as an ad venue and kill it off that way.

They won't abandon them unless viewers abandon them in larger numbers. News Corp/Fox is doing a good job of driving me away though - with the sleaze they push on Fox News at times, and with Fox promoting the homosexual agenda among children with it's "Glee" crap, I'm done with anything the Murdochs control.

FBI background checks on all Editors and reporters should be the law.

Are you saying that if somebody wants to be a reporter at Fox News or ABC or CNN, they have to be approved by the FBI first? My God, I've been to countries where the government has that kind of control over the media, and I have no desire to ever see that kind of government control over the media here in the US, because that kind of control leads to even more control over citizens, or should I say subjects.

No, I’m saying they should get the same FBI background check that someone working for a bank, security company or anyone working with sensitive info/technology gets. The kind that exposes divided loyalties to other countries and criminal/radical associations.

It is then up to the owners of the company to hire the person.

By your name I assume you are retired Air Force? You had bkg checks for security clearances and such right? That’s what I am saying.
