“wasnt stanley armour dunham from “South Africa”?”

I do not know, but it means nothing.
Africa is a continent, not a race.

“African American” was a bogus term made up by black
leaders to purge the terms “Negro” and “colored”, as commonly
used as a description of the Negroid race.

If one is from South Africa and is white, that person would also be referred to, and correctly so, as African American; with no negro blood whatsoever.

I am very suspect of a BC that indicates race as “African”
In the 60’s you were either negro or negroid - as a “race” and not “AFRICAN” I smell a RAT!!

It was Jesse Jackson who demanded that Blacks be called that, only a few decades ago.

Blacks started out being called "Blacks" or NEGROS, then "colored, then back to Negro, then back to Black, and finally "African Americans", which is patently ridiculous! Egyptians are Africans, so are Libyans, and white South Africans;to list but a few people, who aren't classified as "NEGROIDS".
