Obama hates coal but loves electric cars. Makes no sense whatsoever.

Makes no sense whatsoever: That should be dictionary as the definition of the word: Utopia

And no one notices the following moves done stealth-aly by Ford, yes these are from web-based media sources....

* A program to take 500 to 700 lbs out of a vehicle
* Picking tier suppliers for soup to nuts conversion/ co-production lines of Gaseous Fuel systems for Fleet Vehicles
* A Euro-Focus at a car show, with their latest gen Diesel and extensive underside Aerodynamics. 67 mpg highway if my memory is correct.

These area of pushing the technological envelope are far more common sensical than the hybrid/plug-in paradigm.

The X-Prize "Edison 2" won without a hybrid drivetrain, they couldn't make an engineering case for it....

My Prediction?

In 10 years it maybe the "Super-Light" car vs the Hybrid-Plugin-Electric.

IMHO the Super-Light will win....

Not only that, 0bama is completely against expanding domestic electricity production. Into what are people supposed to plug these stupid cars? Candles?

... but those plants are sited near airports that receive the lithium-ion cells from Korea.

And just how much gasoline is required to run those planes?

"I don't think the dufus knows where electricity comes from."

You are right. He thinks if you have a receptacle you will always have electricity. All Greene's think that.

Yeah...Energy Conversion Devices...ENER...into solar cells and batteries went from $52 to $1.90 and falling in 2 years....

Good luck ENER stockholders.

And Ethanol company PEIX trading down at 45 cents today...

more good luck for PEIX stock holders.

You don’t understand.

Electric cars aren’t for driving. They’re for parking in the driveway to look pretty while you run off to catch a Chinese made bullet train so you can be a half hour late to work every morning.
