More and more people are beginning to "question with boldness" Obama's B/C issue.
I understand where Franklin Graham is coming from. First and Foremost we are Americans. Obama has gone way past partisanship as far as I’m concerned. I feel he HATES us because we are American, it does not matter what political party we align ourselves with. I don’t remember a President treating us citizens with such contempt, ALL OF US!!!
I think Franklin Graham is looking past the ideology and is latching on to someone who is not afraid to say that AMERICA and AMERICANS are GREAT! That is Trump’s appeal, he is appealing to us as being AMERICAN’s, not just Republican, Democrats, Libertarian, etc. Obama has his minions who to me are beyond hope but to the rest of us, our pride in our country is surpassing our political affiliations.
Nonsense, the primary season hasn't even begun yet. The one poll I saw that pitted them head to head (Rasmussen) has Obama crushing Trump. There is no reason to believe that several of our potential candidates can't beat Obama.
Bush, Bush Jr and McCain are all more conservative than Trump ever was. None were true conservatives, but at least they didn't push massive wealth taxes, single payer Canadian universal health care, populist trade tariffs, etc.
Trump is simply not a conservative and I still can't figure out why any supposed conservative on a conservative forum would support him.
i’m wondering why so-called conservatives are flocking to this guy, who is anti-gun, pro-government healthcare, pro-soak-the-rich. he sounds more like an obama crone than any real opposition.
I guess some people see whatever they want to see, regardless of reality. kinda like those who voted for obama did. the reality of a trump presidency might make us miss obama.
Reality is that just about all the potential candidates who will run let us down. So no one to turn to. Even Bachmann has no clue about Obama’s past and has decided to ignore the issue. Fine, hit him on other things, but he is a fraud and was/is not legally able to run for POTUS. And he is hiding stuff. If Bachmann and the others who will run can’t handle that truth that Obama is not who he claims to be or defend the constitution on its principals then we are done. I Myself don’t like Trump because he carries some baggage. But the past of Obama needs to be questioned because it is clear to me he is hiding something big. I have been reading up on Obama’s past as much as one can for the last 3 to 4 years. It is anything about run of the mill typical. For all I know Obama might have been with the communist party or chosen to run in 2004 because of his connections to socialism. So where there is smoke I see fire.
I would think that Franklin, along with other Americans would do a little research into Trump's background and find a chameleon-like penchant for changing policy positions when it suits him. I don't find eminent domain abuse American. I also have serious issue with fact Trump has given campaign dollars to Charlie Rangel, Charles Schumer, Hillary Clinton and Anthony Wiener, among others.
Yes, it's very entertaining to watch Trump dog 0bama about the birth certificate issue, but it needs to be kept in that perspective.
The Grahams are democrats, and as far as I can find always have been.
Trump is not Conservative. However, I do not see any strong, intelligent, and articulate Conservative candidate at the moment.
Sounds like your buying into the media hype that there is something wrong with our potential field of candidates. Some of those on your list are not my favorites, but once any of them became they nominee they'd have a perfectly good chance to win.
Obama has about 45-50% approval from the American people. It has been this way for a very long time and won't likely change much. Around half, or slightly more, of the population is looking elsewhere. All of those you listed are more than viable once the actual general election campaign gets going. Almost EVERY election cycle the media claims the crop of potential candidates is terrible and no one likes them. At the end of the day someone emerges, gathers the support of the party and usually makes for a competitive general election candidate.
African Americans (95%+ will vote for him)
Hispanics (70%+ will vote for him)
Union Voters
Federal and State employees
Gays and Lesbians
young, recently indoctrinated and/or unemployed voters
Liberal single women
In my opinion, it will take a fairly strong candidate to overcome Obama’s core of support.
So instead of working hard on behalf of, and voting for, a Republican candidate with at least some degree of conservative credentials and track record, you want to throw in the towel and vote for someone like Donald Trump who has no history or record of being conservative at all (in fact, just the opposite in Trump's case)?
Oh I agree with you that the minority and victim groups will support Obama and it will not be easy to defeat him, but giving up and getting behind a guy like Trump who has no history of sharing conservative values or policy positions is pure insanity in my opinion.
It is media spin that our field of potential candidates is bad. While the field may not seem super exciting at the moment, once the primaries reduce the field to 2 or 3 and finally a single nominee, the final cut will look much more presidential and have effective messaging. Right now all our candidates are just faces in the crowd, but as the process moves forward they will be far more competitive and ultimate represent the entirety of the anti Obama vote - which is potentially 50-55% of the public..
I believe the U.S.A. has lost its moral compass and will spiral into oblivion unless it returns to its founding truths.
