Where does it say SWAT was used?

I'll wait.

Where does it say SWAT was used?

I used that term in the title. Whether or not my usage is precisely correct is irrelevant.

It doesn't say so explicity. It does say they broke down his door in the early morning hours, entered enmasse and immediatly put everyone in the house on the floor and held at gunpoint, using assault weapons.

Is that a normal weapons and tactics scenario?

"Where does it say SWAT was used?"

And "I'll wait."

From the article..."awakened by the sound of someone breaking the back door down..." and "assault weapons pointed at him.."

I dunno about you, but that don't sound like Sheriff Andy Griffith to me.

Quacks like a duck......

The tactics described in the article including weapons are not those carried by regular officers or detectives.

It may go by different names in some departments (building entry teams...) but generically, it is still SWAT and still inappropriate for under the circumstances described.
