“But Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad testified that his department had received information about serious threats made against Pastor Jones from local residents, and argued that his protest could lead to violence if allowed.

Prosecutor Robert Moran argued that the protest had nothing to do with the First Amendment and at stake were security and peace in the community.”

If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains set lightly upon you; and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

Samuel Adams

Ironic, eh.....it seems the Dearborn head cop and the prosecutor must be soulmates with the Red Chinese, Bashir Assad and Hugo Chavez.

What is it with these people and their “Free speech for me; not for thee” attitudes?

Doesn’t seem at all to be an American idealism.
