Nice to see all the genius lawyers are out tonight.
How about the right to protect your private property? You want some assclown burning a koran in your front yard?
Would you expect some reasonable protection from your local police if this idiot decided to burn a koran on your sidewalk and you could do nothing about it, with national MSM coverage because he could?

YOU do not have a sidewalk. The public has a sidewalk, and Jones is a member of the public. Naturally he can’t obstruct other members of the public.
In the various places I’ve lived, the sidewalk is considered public property. Were someone to want to burn a Koran, or Bible, or statue of Buddha or whatever on the sidewalk in front of my house I wouldn’t expect the police to stop them as long as they had complied with all the appropriate statues (observing burn bans, etc.). That’s the point of free speech and freedom of assembly; they’re protected irrespective of a person’s feeling toward it.
The issue remains the same: if the Nazis had a legal right to march in Skokie, then Terry Jones has the same right to protest in front of the mosque.
