Perhaps the Republicans are more interested in holding onto a very strong 90 seat majority for a decade rather than a tenuous 100+ seat majority that could just as easily slide back down to minority status in a down year. The 2010 election was a high water mark.

Perhaps, but I think this may be a really big step back from what was done on the last reapportionment. Governor Rick and his troops made Texas a solid Republican state, and generated a lot of moaning and groaning from the Dems in the process.

There were some “blue dog” Dems who were defeated because of the district changes then. They appeared to be “moderate” Dems, but they always voted with the pac on anything substantial. An example was Charles Stenholm.

Anyone left in the Dem Party is either a Commie, a liar covering up the fact that they are a Commie or simply so stupid to realize the Commies control the entire Dem Party.

NO EXAGERATION.
