The average ‘minority’ is just like you or me, except they live in a world that for the most part is intentionally devoid of moral absolutes.
They’ve been indoctrinated to believe that they’ve been “robbed” or “cheated” by anyone with:
1. White skin
2. More wealth or income than they have
3. More education than they have
This concept is never countermanded by factual reporting or real educating. I’m not excusing this behavior, but there is a vicious cabal of race-baiters who derive philosophical, political and financial gain from this.
They’re the ones deserving blame.
Absolutely true. My dad’s experience as an educator in Chicago’s inner city bears out your statement. He crafted an academic program that rewarded success and did not reward failure, and kids were separating into identifiable skill levels. The successful kids were getting accepted into med school and law school. The parents of the not-so-successful kids invoked the help of Jesse Jackson and Mayor Dailey to get “justice,” which amounted to shutting down my dad’s program, kicking him out of his principalship and into a downtown budget-writing job he hated so much it put his stomach in knots. The result? A decline back into the same old same old prison yard mentality, a dungeon forged with lies and tempered with hatred. Someway, somehow, that’s what’s got to change, or we’ll never heal.
