America’s large corporations and the puppet Congressmen they control better wake up and realize that it is the taxpaying middle class that holds their stock, potential paychecks, and their ability to use those profits to make campaign contributions. They need to start walking on eggshells around us and start catering to the people who enable their lifestyles.
The stock market is up right now, but MCD is down $1.49. I hope their sales drop off a cliff and their stock plummets.
Ah, thanks! I got that same one - I thought maybe you got a more recent canned response. Something like “we are shocked, but have no control over upset customers in our fine restaurants”. I jumped over to this thread, as it seemed to be the earlier posting.
I just wrote a letter for the local stores that I am going to print and drop off to the store managers. We don’t go there often, but have spent some money there in the past. No more.
Isn’t the market closed for Good Friday? After hours trading?
