The Humane Society of the United States, HSUS, has nothing to do with your local animal shelter. They simply want to end any hunting except for subsistence and anything they deem as being cruel to animals. IIRC, they allow for subsistence hunting only for native populations, e.g. north and south American Indians. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Now I prefer to eat what I kill, except insects, but if you don't learn to hunt and fish for fun, you may not know how to do it when your survival depends on those skills.

And it's not like any carcass will go to waste. Nature takes care of that.

Our local woman veterinarian has a poster in her office exposing HSUS as a shill organization that spends less than 1% on animals, the rest on high dollar salaries and high living.

I am a Pro-2A guy to the bone.

Think everyone should be able to own a machine gun if they want to, and Constitutional Carry is the right of every citizen.

That being said, some of the “hunts” in PA are barbaric and are in no way sporting.

The NRA should be working on the repeal of GCA68, not in continuing cruel traditions which have no justification.

IMO, things like this show that the NRA has lost its way.
