It’s the economy, stupid. All Trump is doing is demonstrating how many of us don’t have our eye on the ball. But that’s fine. If the GOP electorate is this stupid, we deserve to be exposed.

Yes, conservatives DO WANT TO THE TRUTH about Obama, what he is hiding and why he is hiding it. Trump tapped into that sentiment and that is the reason he is risen in the polls among Republicans.
All this hand-wringing about the birther issue is utter nonsense. It will have no impact on the general election unless some scandal is unearthed. If not, no one is going to care about the issue in the general election because the general election will be about Obama's record.
