Yeah, and we had to wait for Al Capone's vault to be opened as well. Trump is playing birthers IMO and too many of them are uncritically examining what he is up to. He is no friend of conservatives, and he is doing this just to keep his mug on TV.

The one thing Trump is doing is blistering Obama anytime the subject gets to economics. That's been happening for a year.
He is saying that OPEC and the ChiComs think Obama's a joke. Since Trump has probably sat in the room with those guys no interviewer is going to challenge that. That's why I think they force the birther issue.
Also, Rahm Emanuel's brother is Trump's agent. Trump and Rahm Emanuel are friends, or at least know each other. It's hard for me to imagine there's no communication there.
I don't know if that's good or bad, or what it portends. If Rahm Emanuel is still inside Obama's team, that's bad news for our side. If he's been pushed out by Jarrett as the rumors say, then all bets are off.
When I watched Stephanopoulos's reaction when he was trying to find out what Trump had, I got the idea that whatever cards Trump is holding dictates what Team Obama does. They can't get out front on it because they could do something to make themselves look even worse.
As I said yesterday, Trump could be inside their OODA loop.
Who knows. At least it's fun to speculate.
