Anyone shocked? Me neither.

Furthermore, are you shocked that on Hannity the other night, Trump expressed how much he liked Reagan. Below the video, you will see an excerpt from his 1989 book, Art of the Deal.

Question for all the Donald lovers here. Does his insincerity not bother you at all? I think it's pretty obvious he'll say whatever anyone wants to hear at the time. So one day Trump says George W Bush is the worst president the next day it's Carter and Obama. One minute Reagan is a con man and an empty suit the next Trump is professing his love for him. One minute he's for Canadian style healthcare the next he's trashing Obamacare. I have a hard time supporting someone who seems to have no core convictions at all except that he loves himself and think's he's great.

I agree with Jim Robinson - Trump is NO conservative; he's a charlatan.

I have said good things and bad things about every president that has served me.

None were perfect.

Beleve me, any regard I have Trump is held with high reservation and caution. Truth is, I don’t know who or what to believe any more. Brewer really blew my mind today - now Bachman’s stock went up. I like Palin, but she won’t dissasociate herself from McCain - and that really bothers me. I don’t have much hope at this point in the game.

Anyone who falls for Trump is going to be disappointed. He is not a conservative. There is actually a very good chance that he doing all of this intentionally to undermine the conservative movement. To draw votes away from conservative candidates.

“are you shocked that on Hannity the other night, Trump expressed how much he liked Reagan”

All the left does that now. Except Hilllary, who, last we heard, stands by her 1983 leftist principles to hate on the man.

No, it doesn't bother me a bit. After all, of all the Republican candidates announced, unannounced, Trump is so far down the list that he is second or third on the DEMOCRAT list.

I’ve been interested in Jim Robinson’s position. Do you have the thread where he makes a stand?

Yep.

Too many FReepers have a tendancy to sew their lips to the ass of the wrong guy when they allow sentiment to crowd out reason.

I remember a sizable portion of such dunderheads were calling for liberal idiot Scott Brown to be President of the United States of America after he won in Mass.

You don't hear much from them any longer, but they were all over the place not too long ago.

The problem with being a modern populist is that every thing you ever said is available all the time to anyone.

You’re right, Trump is no conservative and I question if he’s even a Republican.

Here you go. Crystal clear...

"Trump has had a lot of bad hair days. Just like Romney. Two bad hair guys who are more liberal than they are conservative and both run-of-the-mill liars and political whores. Either will say anything to get ahead. Just working the system the only way they know how. Charlatans."

What does it go on to say further about Reagan? It seems that the discussion of him cuts off in the excerpt before the book fully sets out what is said in it about Reagan.

Looks like The Donalds free ride is over from the right. Just ask Myth Romney how far Reagan bashing gets you with the base.

The other question I have is why are Trump and Carter meeting at all? That there is something to look into. There appears to be a previous relationship.

What was beneath Reagan’s smile was integrity. Something Trump doesn’t seem to recognize.

At the very top of the page. Trump is basically calling both Carter and Reagan cons.
