Many folks aren't aware that some Christian churches buy small squares of Matza to serve as the Host for their Communion services.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
True story: one Sunday, when I, as a Deacon, had just helped serve the "Bread" to the congregation and, then, from near the altar, joined them in partaking of it -- suddenly, folks' eybrows went up, and they started looking around at their fellow worshipers with surprised and puzzled expressions.
~~~~~~~~~

The Deacons and minister's wives were responsible for purchasing the bread and wine and preparing the trays for service. And...it turns out that that morning, no one had thought to pick up Matza.

So... they sent the pastor's wife to the market on an "emergency Matza mission"... She rushed in, bought a bag of Matza squares and rushed back to the church.

~~~~~~~~~
But she failed to notice that she had picked up onion-flavor matza!
;-)
Ah, egg and onion matzoh. My favorite! (I’m as Cathoic as the Pope, BTW, but some matzoh slathered with butter? YUM!)
Regards,
