Methinks we’re being played by this guy.

Trump’s appeal is that he is giving voice to much of what conservatives think—Whether he actually believes it is another matter altogether.

What’s noteworthy to me is that a few years ago, I think around the time Specter jumped back to the Democrat Party, Rush declared that he would no longer open his show to politicians/candidates as they are opportunistic users.

With all due respect to Rush, I think he is being used again.

For those of you who have never been in business....giving to both parties is common....it’s called hedging your bets and is smart business. For the fools here on FR to question Trump on this issue shows how little they know about the real world!

This is my new cut and paste reply to all such non-sensical articles/comments vis-a-vis, The Donald by all "so-called" Conservatives, who suffer from TDS, moreso, than any leftist/lib/prog, EVER showed signs thereof, (BDS) against Bush.

SO WHAT?

WHO CARES about who he supported or contributed to in the past?

IF and when, he declares, then there will enough time to take him apart.

I’d love to join all the “Conspiracy Theorists”--who argue that Trump is “secretly” working to destroy/divide the Tea Party, while working to re-elect O’Bozzo--but my Tin Foil hat is at the cleaners.

In the meantime (IN CASE Y'ALL HAVE NOT NOTICED) Trump is doing "God's Work" (and ours') which NO OTHER RINO CANDIDATE--WHICH MOST ARE--is willing to do and that is challenge Dear Leader and expose his corrupt and fraudulent undertakings and agenda.

Case Closed. Class dismissed!

Donald Trump giving campaign donations to leftists such as Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer are fairly well known. These are more reasons that I just do not trust Donald Trump and do not, for a moment, believe he holds conservative values. I have no idea what Trump's game is. A third party run to draw away Republican voters and hand the election to Obama? Muddy the primary election waters and draw off primary voters from a candidate that can beat Obama? Sheer narcissism? I don't know and frankly, I don't care what Trump is up too. For all I know, Trump has abandoned his liberal leanings and is a dedicated conservative with no agenda other than to defeat Obama in 2012. I doubt that's his motivation but, again, I just don't know. However, because I wouldn't give a dollar 'for food' to a panhandler with alcohol his breath, I won't give my trust, much less my vote, to Donald Trump, who has a past record (campaign contributions to liberal Democrats, public statements bashing Republican presidents G. W. Bush and Ronald Reagan) that indicates Donald Trump is a liberal, not a conservative. Sorry Donald, no deal.

Trump is just like Gen. Colin Powell. The liberal media pulled the same crap running big polls for RINO progressives Powell and Trump to defuse the focus on a true conservative candidate.

I’m not very enthusiastic about Trump as a candidate. He’s endorsed Schumer, he was pro choice at one point, and some of his financial deals have been a little shady. His only purpose seems to be to draw support away from serious conservative candidates.

Fools or naive we are not, one needs to always be circumspect with any candidate.

I have seen people who were very high up in the corporate structure not dance with the devil and still be very successful. Its called integrity!

Trump is a phony and a fraud.

Pandering to conservatives and lying through his teeth.

"Donald Trump, the billionaire White House waters-tester...gave $2,400 in 2009 to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid..."

Maybe he wanted an incompetent fool to run things for the Dems?

Obviously, it's going to be tough to claim he's in any way sympathetic to the Tea Party, since he helped the opponents of Angle and Rubio.

This is getting depressing.

So many supposedly conservative FReepers, salivating at the chance of taking down Obama, are going to encourage Trump to run, which he will do on the GOP ticket just like Bloomberg did.

That will leave us with far-left Obama versus almost-as-far-left Trump (see How Conservative is Trump?). Either way, we loose! For the love of all that is good, holy and free, pull your supposedly conservative heads out of your rear ends!

It would seem that, for some anyway, stopping Donald Trump is more important than getting rid of the usurper Hussein Obama. I'm no fan of 'the Donald' in any sense of the word but I thought the primary goal was to rid the country of the Emperor wannabe! Silly me. Just give the country another loser Juan McCain in the form of Mitt 'Obamacare Lite' Romney or the Arkansas 'Dem Lite' Huckster and watch 'em lose big time. My tag line says it best.....
