Makes it sound like something out of a Jane Austen story;) When they realized they were being kidnapped, why didn’t they just break the driver’s neck and push him out of the car? (only works in the movies, I guess. Then again, no one’s ever tried to kidnap me;)
Silly FReeper! They probably tried, but by the time they realized they were in an American car, and that they were assaulting the front passenger rather than the driver, it was too late.
I have to wonder about the Telegraph's mind reading abilities, that they know the victims "accepted a lift from someone they met in a bar, thinking they were being driven home." Or, did they get that info during a seance? It is just as likely that they were trying to score some drugs, something not at all unheard of in Britain.
In any case, give the little punk a nice dose at state expense, please.
