“Short of a third party,”

IMO That’s ultimately where all of this is going. The GOP isn’t going to nominate Palin or Trump. One “went rogue’ and the other can’t be bought. The GOP is a write off as a conservative party with some good people still hanging in there. Conservatives and those even leaning that way are going to have to go it alone.

When you add up all the GOP defectors/Tea party types (which I am among) the GOP is a minority party, or soon will be at the rate they are shedding supporters.

Back to point - The sad truth is that Trump is far more a conservative than all but a couple of the current “GOP” offerings. And I say that being very aware of his Dem/loyalties/statements/donations. There is Palin/Bachmann/West/Cain and that’s about it for real conservatives. The rest aren’t IMO, worth mentioning.

First trump would have to get through that, and if he could, that would prove (to me at least) he could win.
Again. Not my choice, but better IMO than 4 more of increasing exponentially by the day Communism.

I think of it as conserving a way of life from Stalin II.

Ya know..I look at it this way. I dont think Palin will run, and if she does the establishment will not back her-they didnt the last election. I know for a fact they will not back Trump. So lets say someone like Romney gets it-or the Huckster. What would happen if Trump and Palin got together and ran indy? Right now, they are basically saying the same thing.

Its way to early yet and I can dream cant I?
