It was originally sent to me as a comment and I thought it should be shared as a vanity.
Thanks very much SonOfDarkSkies. This was a very interesting and fun event. Lots more details that are very interesting if there are questions.
Thank you for the great report! Well written too!
Can’t say as I disagree with anything I read.
I am envious.
Another thing that really makes sense and frankly will bring pride. He really emphasized that if he were president he would have entered Libya only by getting paid first by Saudi. In the case of Iraq and Libya, this is business and is absolutely our national interest.
He says it forcefully, without shame or worries about PC and jolts the senses about how far we have gone to put our brave troops in harms way for countries that hate us and we aren’t getting the oil that is the blood of our economy. He said he would ensure we and our allies who went in with us would all be paid with a healthy profit and really got a roar when he said he would pay the families of our KIA and maimed soldiers $2M each. He said that amount of money is miniscule and we have no idea how wealthy the Saudi’s are. It makes so much sense that it kinda jolts you when you think what poor leadership we have had.
Thx for that link, Exist...I am watching now and it is great!
Nice report and I especially liked the attending bands. However, Trump gives me the willys..........
How did the crowd respond to that?
Freeper Untwist deserves all the credit...he was there.

Much better video of the Trump event
We do have an unspoken deal with nations like Japan, Saudi Arabia, Korea. They buy our TBills and we defend them. IOW they help prop up the US Dollar
Thanks for the great report. I too was there this afternoon, my first tea party event, and I have to say it was phenomenal. Allen West (my congressman) kicked some serious arse, per usual, and The Donald was, well, The Donald. The guy is not afraid to take on Obummer, that’s for sure. IF Trump gets the Republican nomination - and, yes, that’s a big if - he will absolutely crush Zero in the 2012 election. But then again, so would a couple other candidates.
Again I think the crowd was jolted by the thought that we have been taken for a bunch of saps. Trump is taking an angle that the standard, run of the mill politician does not typically do well. He frames the debate from a business perspective, not always political. I see it as business driving the politics and not the other way around. It’s jolting because we have been so conditioned to seeing the overwhelming leftism of the Democrats bearing on us. To me, this goes back to Bush 41 breaking the No New Taxes pledge.
Trump is not afraid of that and he is taking his case to the Tea Party first. I think this is very formidable if he wants to see this through.
Trump’s angle on this is that we allowed ourselves to get manipulated by China. He didn’t say it but I suspect he will push for higher import taxes and reduced regulation domestically to get us back in the game. His message is you have to give to get and the Chinese are getting all the value of our market almost for nothing. He said we hold all the cards ( in other words they need our market) and we are letting them have it. He indicated that he is experienced working with creditors and understands that working relationship and will not allow this situation to continue.
