Sounding increasingly like a candidate, Donald Trump repeatedly told a raucous tea party crowd today he has the qualities needed in the White House and the conservative ideals necessary to seal the Republican nomination should he decide to run.
Trump struck familiar themes and talked about his own business acumen in his speech to hundreds gathered at a park here, where his name festooned signs, buttons and T-shirts of supporters. The real estate mogul even talked about the type of people he'd have serve as diplomats and said he was looking forward to releasing his financial disclosures.
"Most very successful people, the kind of people that we need running our country, don't want to be scrutinized and abused," he said. "This is the kind of person that this country must have right now."
He derided President Barack Obama, calling him the worst to occupy the White House in history. He again questioned whether the president was born in the U.S., even though the fact has been affirmed by officials in Hawaii, where Obama was born. And he maligned China, saying the U.S. should take control of Iraqi oil and described American infrastructure as third world.
Trump ticked through a number of issues seen as bedrocks for conservative candidates, saying he is anti-abortion, against gun control and wants to repeal Obama's health care law. Throughout the speech, he portrayed the U.S. as a nation in decline and himself as its potential savior.

“So far I see only capons in the group!the woman will fight but it will be a long shot”.....any freeper would get that in a second.
Well perhaps you can convince one of your FRiends to translate it for you... oh wait, as I see from reading the other posts, you don’t have any.”
Then it will remain a mystery until you spend more time here
I’d guess Yale from your poor grammar.
GWB was the last decent man to serve in the White House. I believe he was a thoroughly decent man, and that history will show him overall to have been a very good president on the key issues he was faced with during an extraordinary time in US history.
He was not evil; he was, however, on several points very poorly served. And at the top of the list of those who serve him poorly were McClellan, Martinez and Rove.
Still, the buck stops in the Oval Office, and that poor advice that Bush chose to follow got us Obama. I don’t know who can deny that.
“Id guess Yale from your poor grammar.”
You lose again!
Well, you kinda have to answer your own question when it is asked to a clueless dolt like yourself who is incapable of any kind of rational or coherent position.
Luv your metaphor!
Ok. I tried.
“The man behind Donald Trump’s possible 2012 presidential campaign is a registered Democrat who voted for Barack Obama in 2008. “

Did Trump say that if he didn’t win the nonimation he would entertain running Third Party? If so, hes’s no republican and certainly no conservative. That might very well insure Obama’s re-election. [But then again, maybe that’s the point.]
Don’t bother the little dear with facts. Apparently he’s impervious to them.
Thanks for a nice summary of the event. I would like to see a Trump/West ticket.

So what Look at Tokyo Rove!
One thing we know about BO is he’s not afraid to break the rules.
Typical. Typically lame.
Oh, and if the price of gas keeps going up, Kermit the Frog could beat Obama in 2012.
Dont forget Dolt boy, you need the independents to win!
Oh, my God! I NEVER realized that was the case! THANK YOU SO MUCH for educating me about that!
At the rate you're winning FRiends, that'll be another 13 years or more.
“Dirty is lost!
Ok. I tried.”
Dirty’s job is to show a candidate that can beat Obama.
“Once again, you have failed to make any kind of coherent argument that Trump can win - yet you demand that I make an argument for a candidate - when I don’t even know who I am supporting yet.
Typical. Typically lame.

No shaky it is your job to show who can beat Obama with out fail!
Round and round you go. Every time you are confronted with a fact you don’t like you deflect.
The point is Trump is not a conservative and his team is not conservative. He’s making fools of the Tea Party and conservatives who think he’s actually supporting their agenda.
He’s a master manipulator and you’re one of those fools.
Rove is fighting to stay relevant and won’t be a factor in this next election.
