Both mine and my wife’s home town.

Wow...I was just in Cary yesterday. Prayers for all. Flying back home later last night was pretty rough. Figured something was in the works. Getting lots of rain, lightening and cold in Louisville, but no ‘naders’.

Clayton dodged the bullet this time with tornadoes on both sides of us in Raleigh and Smithfield. I've been looking at all the damage on TV. The Lowes in Stanford was destroyed as well as many houses in a trailer park. Lots of trees down that have crashed through houses and cars. I haven't heard of any fatalities yet.

The tornadic part just passed by us along US-401 near the Wake/Franklin county border. The commercial power is out, and Progress Energy says it will be back on at 7:45. Yeah, right. A high-voltage tower is down near Cobblestone subdivision at New Hope & Buffaloe; no way to get that back up tonight.

Both my sisters live in Raliegh. One was driving home from work when it hit. She said pieces of houses (roof, siding, etc...) dropping from the sky. She called my other sister who was in the process of getting her furballs into the intererior bathrooms.
Power out, verizon cell towers down. Can't reach 2nd sister.
