Trump has an $850 million investment on Wabash Ave in Chicago.

Wow, I find it amazing that so many chest-beaters here on FR are now suddenly willing to throw Conservative principles to the wind and overlook Trump's past contributions, statements, and behavior with the excuse that it's just business.

Simply amazing!

The other day we actually had some of the Trump boot lickers actually saying his use of and support for eminent domain abuses was ‘just business’.

Actually, because Trump has a big investment and is willing to give money to disgusting people to protect it says a lot about Trump, and in my opinion, is not good.

It sounds like the politicians in “Atlas Shrugged”, and that is no compliment.

Most of those chest-beaters are rabid, conspiracy-minded birthers. They care only about Obama's ineligibility. They'll sacrifice the law, the Constitution, and their principles if it means Obama is declared ineligible.

They truly believe that if Obama is declared ineligible, everything he has signed will be automatically null and void and reversed and everyone he has appointed will magically disappear and every decision they've made will be undone. Poof! Just like that. It's magic.

Actually, it's pure delusion. They're pulling FR and conservatism down the rabbit hole with them.

Romney is attacked endlessly on these threads and rightfully so, for his past support of liberals and liberal causes, yet Trump gets a pass (from some) because he now attacks Obama.

Trump is a lot more recent "convert" to conservatism than the liberal Romney. Pro abort, pro homo, donating to liberal candidates such as Hillary and John Kerry. I believe that people can and do change political philosophies but let Trump hold to his new found conservatism for at least a decade or two and then listen to him.

There's not a dimes worth of difference between Trump and Romney. Trump is Romney, without the mormonism thing hanging around his neck.
