Conservatives know a conservative when we see and hear one.
Trump is NO conservative, more like a Ross Perot with a bad
comb-over.
Maybe Conservatives can see through this life-long liberal and smell a rat. This guy has never been on our side. He makes Machiavelli’s Prince look like a pansy and is not to be trusted. Trump has been financially tied to the hip with George Soros to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars and has always been close to the Clintoon camp.
Sarah Palin has been attacking Obama since October 2008 (when she went rogue), and has sustained all kinds of backstabbings at the hands of purported “conservatives.”
“conservatives attack that person like he is the enemy.”
Yea, and I think us Conservatives may be on to something. He is the enemy.
DONALD TRUMP donates $50,000 to RAHM EMANUEL campaign for Mayor in Chicago. Illinois law placed no limits on political contributions until Jan. 1, and Emanuel made the most of the opportunity. He collected more than 70 contributions of $50,000 or more, accounting for roughly half the $10.5 million he raised by the end of last year. Those contributions alone were more than was raised by all of the other mayoral candidates combined.
Many of his biggest contributors live outside Chicago. He received large checks from New York (the financiers Roger Altman, Ronald Perelman and Donald Trump each gave $50,000); Silicon Valley ($50,000 from Steve Jobs); and especially Southern California, where Emanuels brother, Ari, a powerful Hollywood agent, raised money on his behalf. David Geffen gave $100,000, Steven Spielberg $75,000.
It is fascinating you can ignore the evidence that he IS the enemy.
And with “friends” like The Rug who needs an enemy?
I’m personally surprised that Mark Levin (who must get paid big bucks for keeping up on current events) just found out that Trump was no fan of GWB or the Iraq War.
Many people here were not fans of Bush or - I suppose - the Iraq War.
I’ve always liked Trump despite disagreeing with him on many things. I’m enjoying his attacks on Obama.
Conservatives seems to like to eat their own and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Whatever happened to "the enemy of my enemy is my friend?" I had forgotten that Levin was doing such a great job of awakening the masses to the evils of Obama that he had brought, what, 1/1000 of the attention Trump has to our current leader's shortcomings?
Look, he can fight Trump and prop up his ratings all he wants. But he is doing Obama a favor by doing so.
Its a classic theory of military engagements - a false flag carrier sets himself up as being on your team, raises the false flag, then leads whoever is uncritically fixated on that flag off from the main battle front. This isolates the deceived troops, making them more vulnerable and weakening the main contingent by depriving them of needed manpower. And it just doesn’t work if A) the false flag doesn’t look pretty real from a distance, and B) the raiser of the false flag fails to get the attention of the targeted troops. Mark, others here, and myself, are sounding the alarm that Trump is indeed a false flag operation, and so far a very successful one at that. We cant let that success continue if we really want to win in 2012. Much of the battle now depends on all of us staying together and not diluting our own force. Let Trump say all he wants about the BC (though you may notice he’s not as focused on eligibility per se as a true eligibility skeptic should be). But let’s not give him the GOP nomination as a reward for his apparent bravado. He’s not one of us, and hes not for us. He’s for Donald “The Beauty of Me” Trump. False flag all the way.
Can't say I've heard every complaint from Levin about Trump, but his timing sure does suck and needs to STFU and let this play out. Just shut up Mark!!!
Dennis Kucinich has been attacking Obama. By your logic, conservatives should be supporting him.
Motives matter and they matter a ton more than easy populist demagoguery.
Trump says what he says for the same reason he always opens his mouth - seeking popularity.
He would be to the GOP like a Swarzenegger on steroids, with his ego providing the steroids. And we all know what a great benefit Arnold was for the GOP now don’t we.
That’s because, to some, the “birther” issue is the only thing that matters.
“at the time someone is finally publicly attacking Obama (and doing so very effectively), conservatives attack that person like he is the enemy.”
Donald is attacking Obama, and pushing the right buttons, but the fact remains, as Levin said in the piece:
“As recently as last year, while conservatives and Tea Party activists were organizing and rallying against Obama, Pelosi, Reid and their radical agenda, Chump was helping to fund some our opponents. He contributed to left-wing, Tea Party-hating menaces like Chuck Schumer, Anthony Weiner, and Harry Reid. What about his contributions to Charlie Crist, while Crist was running against Marco Rubio? Did he donate to any of the Tea Party candidates? Did he contribute to the Tea Party movement in any way, with time or money, before today? Why not?”
