I know a woman whose husband is a real creep. He puts up a good front but he makes my skin crawl every time he’s around. He left her for another woman. Turns out, there was a bunch of stuff about him that she was hiding - like he’s not allowed to be around children (???).
One day, he showed back up as if nothing happened. The dumb ass (excuse my French) took him back and wants everyone who helped her through her devastation to “forgive” him and act like nothing happened.
What happens to her from here - I have no sympathy for her at all. She knows full well who and what he is.
I know a woman like that. What gets me is that woman that I know didn't take crap from her first husband and was married many years to him. After he died, a few years later, she meets a real loser. When he's not around she says she hates the bastard then a few days later, acts as if nothing happen. I've seen bruises on her and she says she had an accident or had a bad fall. I know its BS.
When I see her next, I'm going to have a little private chat with her boyfriend and say to him if I ever see another bruise on this woman, I'm calling the police.
“What happens to her from here - I have no sympathy for her at all. She knows full well who and what he is.”
Be generous and reach out to her again. I think that she is suffering from depression and could use any kind of friendship.
