Why is any Republican giving the time of day to Hollywood? They should be grudgingly allowing them the absolutely necessary minimum effort required to prevent real economic damage to the country (i.e. access to civil legal remedies against infringement, scaled to the actual demonstrated damages done in each case), not bending over backwards (or forwards, depending on your choice of metaphor) for them.
