Cantor nixes Trump (#4 item)

President Donald Trump? Don’t count on it, says House Majority Leader Eric Cantor.

“Would you support a Donald Trump candidacy, especially with all this birther talk?” CNN anchor Kiran Chetry asked the Virginia Republican.

“No, I don’t think he is really serious when we see a campaign launched on the birther issue,” Mr. Cantor replied, dismissing the idea that Mr. Trump was the “best hope” to defeat President Obama in 2012.

I fully agree with Rep. Cantor.

The Rug is in no way, shape or form going to be my choice for the GOP presidential candidate. He’s not even in the top 100.

Don’t count on it, says House Majority Leader Eric Cantor.

Oh well, I guess that settles it then. The all powerful Cantor has spoken!

The recent budget “deal” has exposed Cantor as a weasel who places “party loyalty” above the interests of hard-working Americans—Not that that should surprise anyone.

All I know is that Mr. Trump is asking questions other GOPers don’t have the guts to ask.

If it is Obama or Romney or a Romneylike candidate, I might consider Trump.

The GOP leaves me cold. They are just about as bad as the democraps.

Sounds like the GOP is circling the wagons! Didn’t the GOP head Reince Preiss (or whatever his name is) say to The Donald yesterday - just shut up.

Personally it’s been refreshing for someone to take on the big O. More needs to happen.

I bet Trump himself doesn't even know if he'd run for President. In the meantime, he is having the time of his life ... and WHY NOT!!!???

If no other ‘Conservative’ has the intestinal fortitude to discuss “O’s” eligibility, then let Trump do it!!

The only thing I hate worse than a Republican is a Democrat. Eric Cantor is a weasly little RINO who I wouldn’t trust to guard my lunch money. If Trump does decide to get into this presidential race I think he will have a great chance to snag the nomination just for the fact that he is willing to stand up and say what he thinks. People are desparate for a candidate who will pull no punches.

“Would you support a Donald Trump candidacy, especially with all this birther talk?” CNN anchor Kiran Chetry asked the Virginia Republican.

The Virginia Republican better go back to the drawing board and rethink the nonsense he is uttering. Name calling is straight out of the Democratic play book. That is all they can do because they are incapable of carrying on an intelligent conversation about the substance of interest.

The substance of interest is the dearth of knowledge about the man we elected to serve as our President. Generally there is a lack of common sense and too many unsupported assertions about the qualifications of Mr. Obama. Such a dearth of knowledge about a sitting president is unprecedented!

There are lack of information and access to Mr. Obama's writings, his kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, medical records, selective service registration records, social security number irregularities, files from his years as an Illinois state senator, his Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records and adoption records.

This information lockout continues in his "transparent" presidency, with organization after organization having to sue under the FOI Act to get basic information about meetings, attendees, motives of people elected and appointed to govern us.

Yep! Conservatives should step back and let Trump continue to "do the job no other Republican is willing to do" (paraphrasing El Rushbo).

Save your criticism/dislike of Trump for later.

Reince Preiss (or whatever his name is)

Prince Rehab or Prince Prefab is upset that Trump is stealing the show and making the GOP look like mealy-mouthed wieners (which they are of course).
