Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels is expected to announce his decision regarding the 2012 Republican presidential nomination in the coming weeks.
Allen County Republican Party Chairman Steve Shine says, “The Indiana Legislature will be adjourning at the end of this month and that is the Governor’s timetable to make his decision on whether or not to run for President.”
The Republican county chairman also noted that he expects Mr. Daniels will enter the 2012 Republican presidential race.

He gave a terrific speech at CPAC. Referred to Obama’s overspending as the “red menace.” I think he would wipe up the floor with Obama in a debate. He’s a smart guy who comes across as a modest, real human being, not a phoney. Very low key self-deprecating sense of humor. A stark contrast to Obama. He supposedly has been an excellent governor in Indiana running the state in the black, attracting new businesses, cutting the size and cost of government. If he favors affirmative action and open borders, though, I will not support him despite his fiscal conservatism.
