I am quite impressed at how insistent the "system" has become at insisting that someone who wants to be President must "declare", years before the election, and that they them must "run" by a) raising money, b) transferring that money to the "system", and c) playing by rules laid down by the "system".
F*** that.
It's OUR election, it's OUR choice, and we should be FREE to make it.
The whole structure is rotten to the core. One good shove, and over it goes.

There is little difference between the skills needed for Trump to do his business and what you call 'political skills'. Its mostly salesmanship, in selling a real estate project, or a political and economic agenda. I, for one, would not sell Trump short on being a salesman.

Which is precisely why I said what I said about now looking at Trump's recent activities in an entirely new light. It is entirely possible that Trump is attempting an 'end run' around 'the system'. This has not been seen since Reagan, although Palin is likely trying to emulate Reagan's methodology.
Trump, on the other hand, is going even farther than either of those two attempted go. He could actually be, in effect 'doubling down' on this strategy, to the nth degree. It's interesting to watch...
