Einstein himself supposedly said when faced with a couple of anomalies in quantum mechanics that "God doesn't play dice with the universe." In the end even he had to agree that God does play dice with the universe, and tosses the dice where even He can't see them".
We are, it turns out, part of the game whether we want to be or not.
i disagree. The Lord is omniscient and omnipresent; he exists in all times at all times.
The God of the Bible does see it all and knows the beginning from the end.
Deut 11:10 For the land, whither thou goest in to possess it, [is] not as the land of Egypt, from whence ye came out, where thou sowedst thy seed, and wateredst [it] with thy foot, as a garden of herbs:
Deut 11:11 But the land, whither ye go to possess it, [is] a land of hills and valleys, [and] drinketh water of the rain of heaven:
Deut 11:12 A land which the Lord thy God careth for: the eyes of the Lord thy God [are] always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.
Unlike you, I really don’t know that God created an open ended universe or if He can see all the details or not, but I do believe we are all part of the game.
