IMHO he should have pushed through the PP defunding at all costs. That should have been the line in the sand. But apparently he caved on that issue and that, my FRiend is the single most important issue for me. You cannot compromise on core principles and if they backed down on this, knowing they had the votes to get it through the house and force the Senate’s hand then I don’t believe they have what it takes to actually do anything to save the Republic. The reason why the democrats are smiling is because they won on the core issue.
The Republicans may have “ won” by forcing a compromise on money, and that might please the Tea Party atheists bit I’m not impressed with Boner’s leadership on this one. He drew the line in the sand and then surrendered the real estate. That is the definition of defeat.
