Not be my reckoning. First it was to be a cut of $100B. That was reduced to a cut of $74B. That was then reduced to $61B. Now we are told it will be $38B.
The spenders whoomped us. The Republicans caved in. The Tea Party is betrayed.
They’re counting the extra $40 billion the Democrats wanted to spend, but supposedly are not going to. If they had proposed an extra trillion, we could have cut the budget by a trillion.;)
