VIDEO: Donald Trump Explains his pro-life conversion
CBN News ^ | 04/08/2011 | David Brody

Posted on 04/08/2011 7:41:56 PM PDT by SeekAndFind

In an exclusive interview with The Brody File, Donald Trump explains why he changed his view from pro-choice to pro-life.

He says one of the main reasons was because one of his close personal friends chose to keep his child rather than have an abortion.

Trump is seriously considering running for President. The Brody File spoke exclusively with him at Trump Tower in New York City. The interview lasted over 30 minutes and includes lots of interesting answers about issues important to Evangelicals.

The full 5-minute piece on Trump will air across the country on "The 700 Club" next Thursday. Clips will begin to appear on The Brody File next week.

In addition, the entire 30 minute Brody File show will be devoted to Donald Trump next week. Read his pro-life answer below and watch the clip as well.

David Brody: “Evangelicals do want to feel secure that they’re going to have a nominee that’s going to at least be solid on those issues, those social issues. Someone that’s not just going to cut and move on.”

Donald Trump: One thing about me, I'm a very honorable guy. I'm pro-life, but I changed my view a number of years ago. One of the reasons I changed -- one of the primary reasons -- a friend of mine's wife was pregnant, in this case married.

She was pregnant and he didn't really want the baby. And he was telling me the story. He was crying as he was telling me the story. He ends up having the baby and the baby is the apple of his eye. It's the greatest thing that's ever happened to him.

And you know here's a baby that wasn't going to be let into life. And I heard this, and some other stories, and I am pro-life.

David Brody: So those stories did change you, they came around and changed you?

Trump: They changed me. Yeah, they changed my view as to that, absolutely.

I would drop my objections to Donald Trump if:

1. I could be assured he was not a 33rd degree Freemason.

2. Be sure that the fact he owns New Jersey Casinos (the focus of his financial empire) that he is not closely connected to the mob.

Freemasons above the 33rd degree in engage in Anti-Catholic rituals.

My understanding of the KKK is that it was derived from the Masonic Rites.

Catholic hating is part of the KKK...

One of the reasons the Freemasons are a secret society is that they do have skeletons in their closet -- though European Freemasonry is much more anti-Christian than its American counterpart...

Love him or hate him, Donald Trump doesn’t seem the kind of guy who would change his mind on issues the day after the election.

Using my super-secret Trump decoder ring, I can give you what he really said:

So, I had this most fabilous idea. These tea party people seem to have a lot of money and give it to people they like. They also give a lot of attention and I said, what the heck, the Trump needs more attention. I then had the greatest idea ever. A gold plated idea. I would say I am running for President and say I converted to all their positions so they would give me all their money and attention. I am epic win. Pay attention to me..

Now wait for him to suddenly convert(sic) from his liberal stances on gun control, government controlled health care, taxes, etc.

He sure changed his mind pretty quick when he saw public outrage building over leasing property to Qadaffi. and now he proudly states that he’s a dishonest businessman.

RE: I could be assured he was not a 33rd degree Freemason.

Which reliable source tells us that he is a 33rd degree Freemason?

Don is a lunatic. I enjoy lunatics... An acquired taste to be sure.

A lunatic with several hundred millions in the bank.

Sometimes these individuals can be helpful, other times hurtful.

He sees that his end is closer than his beginning.

I have no problem with what he is currently engaged in... Everybody has to do something.

You may not believe the following about me, but it is true:

1. In the 1970s, I worked parties at the Playboy Mansion. How? I had relatives that were Freemasons.

2. I worked for GE (AN/SQQ 89 -- the Submarine Combat System for Aegis Cruisers/Destroyers), also IBM, and, to a lesser extent, Motorola. At GE, there were unusual rules I played under...

3. I have also been involved in things that can only be explained, well, by my Christian faith...

4. When working for Priests for Life, I lived in a former Donald Trump apartment building. There were Freemason symbols all over the place. I am talking about the "G" and the "Compass" symbol.

5. I have read about one Josyp Terelya. Josyp, may he RIP, was a Ukrainian dissident. At one time, the KGB tried to kill him, but failed. There was a supernatural intervention that saved his life. He was freed from the USSR at the request of then President Ronald Reagan, President Mitterand of France, and Pope John Paul II. When he was in the Vatican, he was given a book which he did read. He talks about Freemasonry in his writings... It was Terelya that I learned that Chernobyl means wormwood, and there is a reference to wormwood in the Bible -- the Book of Revelation/Apocalypse. His books Witness and In the Kingdom of the Spirt are interesting readings...

The following is the symbol of freemasonry that I found on every floor of his former apartment building in NYC:

The one in those apartment building were similar to this. They were cast in iron, for everyone to see in plain sight that lived in the apartment building.

Just in case you are serious (and your post #2 is so far off in facts I question that), I think you are referring to Trump World NYC which was built in the 20s and housed a Masonic hall which is why you will still see symbols there. There is a historical tie to Freemasonry and architecture, even to this day, they are involved in laying the corner stones of important buildings. All through out our major metropolitan cities, especially those who went through building booms in the turn of the last century, you can find symbols everywhere. Old craft symbols were used often as decorative pieces.

I would suggest laying off the conspiracy sites for a while.

One way to tell if a person is a 33rd degree mason is that they are Shriners In the last 60 years, Reagan and JFK are the only possible presidents who were not Freemasons. Most US Presidents were freemasons...

Reagan eventually became an honorary freemason, but I believe that was after he left office.

Kennedy, if he was a freemason, he would have been automatically excommunicated.

There is one story of JFK that he was going to shutdown a Masonic lodge before his assassination. That story alludes that Freemasons might have been behind the assassination (amount others, such as the mob, and LBJ, who benefited from the assassination, and the assassination took place in his home state of Texas...)

I am not sure who killed Kennedy, but this was an interesting story...

Bill Clinton got his start by joining Demolay. One story I heard about Texas was that in the 1970s and 1980s, only Demolay was allowed to watch the Texas legislature in session...

Since I have relatives who were not buried with Christian rites but as Masonic rites, I understand a little, but never understood it.

If he runs as a as a pro-lifer, if we can get him to swear to stay away from any anti-gun stances, if he’ll back Israel to the hilt and turn his back on the anti-Israel arabs, if he’ll stand up to the Chinese and open up the drilling, coal and nuclear power and help shut down the EPA and the Dept of education and move us to a flat tax and cut the IRS to a 10th of what it is, and move to do tort reform and reinstate usery laws by banks and stop Attorneys from advertising, or ambulance chasing, if he’ll fire everyone in the Justice Dept and start all over, if he’ll put every federal judge up for a vote of confidence, one at a time to keep their jobs, I’m all for him.

I don’t care what his faith is or what clubs he belongs to. I’m not voting for a pastor I’ll follow to get to heaven.

RE: if he’ll stand up to the Chinese

Michael Savage has had Trump on his show at least 3 times ( maybe more ).

One of Trump’s policies mirrors that of Michael Savage’s which is to INCREASE TARIFFS ON IMPORTS FROM CHINA UNTIL THEY PLAY FAIR WITH US ON TRADE.

Way to start a trade war, if that’s what you want...

On gun control, here’s what Trump said over 10 years ago...

SEE HERE:

http://www.issues2000.org/Celeb/Donald_Trump_Gun_Control.htm

Dems and Reps are both wrong on guns

“It’s often argued that the American murder rate is high because guns are more available here than in other countries. Democrats want to confiscate all guns, which is a dumb idea because only the law-abiding citizens would turn in their guns and the bad guys would be the only ones left armed. The Republicans walk the NRA line and refuse even limited restrictions.”

Source: The America We Deserve, by Donald Trump, p.102 Jul 2, 2000

For assault weapon ban, waiting period, & background check

“I generally oppose gun control, but I support the ban on assault weapons and I support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun. With today’s Internet technology we should be able to tell within 72-hours if a potential gun owner has a record.”

Donald Trump on Healthcare:

SEE HERE (HIS QUOTE OVER 10 years ago):

http://www.issues2000.org/Celeb/Donald_Trump_Health_Care.htm

“I’m a conservative on most issues but a liberal on health. It is an unacceptable but accurate fact that the number of uninsured Americans has risen to 42 million. Working out detailed plans will take time. But the goal should be clear: Our people are our greatest asset. We must take care of our own. We must have universal healthcare.

Our objective [should be] to make reforms for the moment and, longer term, to find an equivalent of the single-payer plan that is affordable, well-administered, and provides freedom of choice. Possible? The good news is, yes. There is already a system in place-the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program-that can act as a guide for all healthcare reform. It operates through a centralized agency that offers considerable range of choice. While this is a government program, it is also very much market-based. It allows 620 private insurance companies to compete for this market. Once a year participants can choose from plans which vary in benefits and costs.”

Trump is referring here to an aspect of abortion which rarely gets addressed...that is the effect of this terrible procedure to the male psyche. The baby is in the woman’s body, therefore her right to choose, yet the baby would not be there if not for the 50% genetic contribution of the man, who is given no say in the outcome of the pregnancy.

Not only is this unfair to the man, it also subordinates men’s roles in our society. It emasculates them. Really, I am surprised this is not talked about more.
