You’ve never seen tamed animals that are used to being fed by humans, I guess?

I have. I've had deer walk right up to me and eat the flowers at my feet and been followed for blocks by wild house-cats.

But those were not normal animals. An animal living in the wild that has been tamed through feeding is still dangerous, perhaps more so because they have zero fear of humans.
