MESQUITE, Texas - A YouTube video of a police officer using pepper spray on a baby squirrel has sparked outrage in the city of Mesquite, Tx.
A student recorded the incident. In the video, the officer is seen spraying the animal after it began chasing students around at Kimbrough Middle School.
Students are heard begging the cop, reffered to as Officer Davis on the video, to stop with cries of "No!" and "Don't spray him!"
Mesquite Police Department has defended the officer's actions.
Sgt. Wes Talley said the officer stood between a group of students and the animal because he thought it may have been rabid.

If your child was bitten and contracted rabies from a squirrel while at school, I bet you’d find a lawyer and sue.

That little one acted like it was begging for food, a little 80 something widowed lady lives near me, she and her semi pet raccoons raise new babies every year. They come to her door stand on their back legs and rub their bellies. She feeds them dog food. I have never seen them just get reports from the little woman after she stops for a visit to checks on her.

What is taking place here is ad hominem at best... but,,,
The act of psychological projection or projection bias is an unconscious defense mechanism where one projects their own undesirable attributes, thoughts, and emotions onto another.
I remember from my college days psychology courses that an example of this is where a person might have thoughts of infidelity with respect to their wife or husband. Instead of dealing with these undesirable thoughts consciously, the person unconsciously projects these feelings onto the other person, and begins to think that the other has thoughts of infidelity and that the other may be having an actual affair.
Another fine example of projection I recall from philosophy classes. The Philosopher Ludwig Feuerbach wrote in his theory of religion that a large part of the idea of religion is completely projection based. In his theory is the idea that any deity is the outward unconscious projection of man's own anxieties and fears.
Since you like playing Freud maybe you should look up "Antisocial Personality Disorder", more specifically the subtype of "Reputation Defending Antisocial Behavior". Its associated signs and symptoms and then apply those to your perceived attitude, the language you use and your holier-than-thou,,, extreme egotism combined with rage-driven insecurity, extreme arrogance, annoyance, impatience, threats, aggression you display here in your replies.
Actually, I am using the term correctly and selected it for that reason. You are projecting your capacity for lying and obfuscation onto others. In each accusation that you threw against me, I pointed out that it was actually you that was guilty of the same. In other words, you are projecting your worst qualities (which you have demonstrated time and time again on this board) onto others, all in your quest for power and a sense of superiority.
Regardless, you have yet to prove your story. I await a link to this appellate decision or some other demonstrative proof of your assertions. Given your already demonstrated capacity for lying, why should anyone believe your persecution story without proof?
Why not link for us the decision of the courts that vindicated you. If it actually exists, you should have no problem doing so, and indeed, you should want such make available to show others both that they can find justice from the courts when their rights are violated, and to serve as a deterrent to other rogue police. Such a decision would serve as vindication for truth and justice. So why hide it? Could it be because it doesn’t actually exist?
As I previously stated to you, no further conversation will be forthcoming, apart from continued requests for you to prove your assertions.

This is a prime example of exactly what I’m talking about, the very so many no longer trust cops, don’t believe them view them as part of the problem.
Here you are, you’ve lost the argument by providing links to information that supports the other side’s claims, then you move the goal post into the parking lot, run in the other direction and bizarrely declare victory after doing so…
Next you start lobbing ad hominem attacks, which universally signals, that you no longer have the ability to coherently put forth and debate facts.
Now you continue to press forward, tilting at windmills if-you-will… in what can only be described as a sad attempt to prop up your bruised ego.
This is exactly why cops end up in so much trouble.
Here an example for you. They engage in a given situation, then press forward with the wrong facts even in the face of overwhelming and growing evidence that contradicts their point of view of things. Yet they continue on. Next they begin to realize their frustration but instead of taking a step back, which 99% of all cops are incapable of doing. They start growing more and more angry and direct that anger towards other people who are trying to point out the obvious wrongs the cop has taken a stand on.
In more common vernacular people usually refer to this as simply going down with the ship.
Now this is where the cops usually arrest someone based upon completely incorrect and incoherent facts and regardless of how much information others have attempted to give them that contradict the cops views of things.
This arrest is more often than not blatantly illegal and ends up going sideways for the cops.
What happens next is the accused bonds out of jail, retains counsel.
The courts then dismisses the charges with extreme prejudice.
Formal complaints are filed alleging misconduct, cops get suspended.
Media gets the story and civil suits for unlawful arrest and civil rights violations are filed.
Department investigation finds the cops acted outside the scope of their duties and the law as well as inappropriately... at this point the cops either resign or get fired.
Civil suit is either settled out of court or goes forward and a judge and jury rules against the cops, money is then awarded.
The now Ex-Cop gets quoted on the news holding his ground claiming he/she did nothing wrong. This in the face of everything proving they were infact the ones in the wrong... sound familiar?

Squirrels are rodents. Rodents don’t carry rabies. It would be very rare for a squirrel to be rabid. Now skunks are another story.

Where is the proof of the big bad cops persecuting you? Can you provide a citation? ANYTHING?
