I am glad Repubs have a learning curve.
Dems have held the last ballot box and then turned in the number of votes they needed. It worked for Johnson in the 1960’s and elsewhere since then (Washington state, Wisconsin, etc.).
Repubs finally figured it out and kept a big collection of ballots themselves.
Turnabout if fair play.

I tend to take this at face value. Ballots were originally not counted, the discrepancy was found, and the count was corrected.
