Turns out this whole battle now comes down to one issue...federal money for abortion in DC...and as the Dems scurry away into their dark corners it is becoming clearer even in the media.
Will Obama shut down the Gov't for the "heroic" cause of keep funds flowing for abortion in DC? Don't think so.
Well, if DOD funding for the remainder of FY 11 is part of the ONE week extension, this removes a lot of leverage the Dems and Obama now have in pushing their agenda.
IMO, this makes the progressives more inclined to exercise their "Sampson Option" now and attempt to blame the GOP and Tea Party. Even a blind person can see this coming. Life in America is going to get even more interesting ...
