It is called timing. When Obama was elected he had 66+ percent approval, full backing of MSM and at the peak of his popular power. Now the US economy still in the tank, unemployment is high and an approval rating in the low 40’s this is the time to strike on the BC issue. Sometimes freepers and Tea Party members do not grasp public or mob dynamics. Sadly to say, but since most Americans are enamored in sports and reality TV and not serious matters such as economics and civics, one must learn how to manipulate the mob dynamics to make effective policies or political points. Trump is not just a businessmen but also a promoter, thus PR dynamics is part of his required skills to be successful.
But I say, a little less ‘PR dynamics’ and a little more personal and professional commitment to the truth ... regardless of ‘public sentiment’ (which is notoriously myopic and none to scrupulous about detail.)
