The thing that stood out is his clarity, directness, and plain and simple language. Good God, his recitation of facts was not rocket science.

Actually The Donald does have something to lose whether he runs for Prez or not - his credibility. He is really sticking his neck out on the birth issue. If he was just grandstanding he will look like a total douche if/when Obama were to provide slam-dunk definitive proof. Trump does have to maintain popularity for his TV show and other endeavors, as he is media savvy and conscious of his image for reasons not just political.

Still not sure what his endgame is or how this will play out, but as you said its very interesting and his hammering of Obama isn't good for the Empty Suit President
