Mel, Barry is one of the least masculine men I’ve ever seen or even heard of. What astonishes me (and shouldn’t) is that black men don’t seem to either notice, or if they do, they don’t care. You’d think a man as effete as Barry would turn their stomachs. It’s sobering, to see the degree Barry’s ‘blackness’ trumps all else.
