As if the situation in Wisconsin wasn't tense enough, it appears that one county in particular is going to a new extreme. This comes after word that there may have been voter fraud in the nonpartisan State Supreme Court election yesterday between incumbent David Prosser and JoAnne Kloppenburg.
For some reason one of the counties in the state is destroying ballots that 'were not counted' yesterday. Apparently this is a very bizarre and egregious move.
There is now a call for an injunction to preserve the 'discarded' ballots:
I have filed a Wisconsin Open records request with the City of Mequon demanding any ballot submitted but not cast in yesterday's election, including any remnant of a shredded ballot. We have received reports Mequon poll workers destroyed submitted ballots before poll closing time, demanding a driver’s license number from the absentee voter. This request is unusual and the destruction of ballots is of grave concern, given the closeness of the state Supreme Court election. I will consider seeking an injuction to back up my request if Mequon officials are not copperative [sic]. Mark Belling, April 6, 2011

Ex-President Lyndon Johnson won a disputed Texas election for the US Senate, but there was no recount because all ballots were stored in one building that, somehow, burned down.
Ballots were counted by hand in those pre-computer days.

This is the kind of thing that happens when you turn the other cheek with voter fraud.
The GOP knows and has documented Dem fraud, yet they refuse to stand up to it.
The biggest fraud of all is in the White House right now.
Not a stinking soul will stand up and call foul and demand the fraud be investigated by someone not already associated and complicit in the fraud.

Oh, please. There’s no logic to what you say. If what you say is true, we wouldn’t have slaughtered them last November. They’d still have the House and all those statehouses and legislatures.
Pull your head out and think about the logic of what you say. Yes, there was fraud. They always use fraud. They wouldn’t be able to breathe if they didn’t cheat. They are junkies when it comes to cheating. But fraud won’t win the day for them when we show up in overwhelming numbers.
As Hugh Hewitt says, if it ain’t close, they can’t cheat (well, they can still cheat, but it won’t help).
Milwaukee conservative radio talk show host James T. Harris just Tweeted “Breaking! 500 - 600 votes may have been found for Prosser. Reliable source.”
Over at Kos I’m seeing phases like “EPIC DEM VICTORY!!!” and “Shallacking of the GOP!!” for a 0.009% victory.
If WE had won by 40,000, these same idots would be telling the media libs that it wasn’t a mandate, and proves we must do what Dems want us to.

2 - If I lose, I sue, then the courts declare me the winner, then I rule.
3 - If I lose before the courts, I revolt, declare myself the winner, then I rule.

At our first school board elections (mid 90s), the ‘Dem endorsed’ candidates workers all showed up and slapped big “Teacher Endorsed” stickers on their yard signs at the polling places. Note it didn’t say “Teacher UNION Endorsed.” Made my blood boil.
And, you bet the School Board is a stepping stone on a political career. Even Marion Barry started on the DC School Board (you wonder why their schools rank 51st in the country?)

Did you listen to Vicki this morning? That guy who called in voting from Washington High was chilling. After that I sent my senator and rep an email, Enough already. This should have been item number 1 in January.
