Actually a large minority in Singapore is Muslim and they live in harmony..because they must. Govt built housing mixes all races and religions together. They won’t allow any over concentration of one religion or group purchase in one complex. The muslim’s do feel that they lack political power, but there are lots of muslim’s in the govt.
We used to go an area near the old Mosque for fish head curry. In our fist house we could hear the call to prayer in the morning and evening.
For the past several decades, they've been importing large numbers of skilled workers (few of whom are Muslim). I suspect an unstated goal is to further reduce the percentage of Muslims as a % of the population.
