This election is important nationally too. If Kloppenburg is elected the Wisconsin mandate by the electorate in 2010 in this state will be negated by the WI Supreme Court and the unions will have won.
I live in a hardcore conservative area and discovered today that my Prosser yardsign was mutilated and thrown into one of my plantings.
Pray for Wisconsin and for Prosser's election!
More like too many lazy non-Commies.
Yeah, but can we stay on election results please?
WI is battleground to determine if the US states can handle the budget crisis. Problem is people will be people. Give them something, they will never want to give it back. Remember over 40 percent of people eligible to vote do not register, and 40 percent register do not vote. Now gov must take away benefits and guess what the 40 percent pro goodies will get off their duff and vote. Europe has already shown that people in general will not accept austerity.
If people will not do what is necessary and lead this country to financial collapse, question is what will freepers do? My recommendation is obtain hard assets and prepare for the financial collapse of the US and those who prepare will be the new rich. Those union idiots think their utopia will continue. It will continue as long as the politicians who misled them till the very end. While we understand this scam, and prepare otherwise. When the collapse come, the politicians will be long gone because they knew it was coming, but the union voters will be caught flatfooted (pensions gone and dollar based savings destroyed by currency devaluation). Those who prepare by anticipating the coming tragedy will be in position (hard assets) to protect their wealth and be financially strong during the rest. They way I see it, if WI choses Dem they signal the markets that the American public are not ready to stop the collapse, and personally my precious metal investments will go up. QE help me make a mint on gold and silver, WI voting for the unions will allow me to make even more money from the metals. So freepers, my advice is prepare your own financial lifeboat and let the ignorant masses drown in their own misdeeds. Save yourself and your family. It is too late to change politicians, bankers, and the general public.
I don’t understand why you’re saying this. in the 2004 presidential election there were 220K votes from Waukesha county. So far there are only about 85K counted there....
BWWWWAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH
Over 1 MILLION in a Supreme Court election? 76% of the vote is in, and neither candidate has broken 600K yet.
This is looking horrible for Prosser (and freedom). The nation is doomed. There are no longer enough Conservatives to offset the people who have been brainwashed by the media.
What was the turnout like?
Anyone have confirmation of 53.5% for Prosser?
:P
This is giving me a headache!! I am going to go watch Glenn Beck and check back later. PRAY for Prosser!!!!
RE: Waukesha County - I am following the County Judge there as reported by WTMJ - it’s been stuck at 70% reporting forever.....that is the County total. Is it possible the majority of the outstanding 30% is Waukesha proper?
It’s quite surprising. I’ve never been a fan of his style, but have thought that he was at least authentic about his beliefs.
STFU you little pi$$y little whiner.
That was in a PRESIDENTIAL election, not an off-year municipal election.
Right now Klop leads Prosser in Dane County 119,756 to 42,812, or a bit under 75%, a lead of 77,000. The precincts in the February primary cast just over 70,000 votes. It looks like they'll cast about 180,000 votes in this election. That's about 2/3rds of the votes cast in the Kerry/Bush race, so it's a very high turnout.
Multiplying the February vote in the precincts still outstanding by 3 (to exaggerate, I believe the actual factor should be 2.5), that means there are 26,763 votes outstanding in Dane County. Even though 74% of the precincts have voted, I would estimate that 85.6% of the voters have voted, because the remaining precincts are smaller than average.
If we assume 75% of the remaining voters vote for Klop, that's an increase in her lead of about 13,400. So her total lead in Dane County would be 77K + 13K or 90,000 (and I think that's the high end).
My own spreadsheet had earlier projected Klop winning Dane by 86,000, so I don't think there's any reason to panic over Dane County. The real concern is the size of the outstanding precincts in Waukesha and other such Republican counties.
Why are they allowed to do this?
For all of you Wisconsin Conservatives, we still have plenty of room here in Texas for y’all.
