This election is important nationally too. If Kloppenburg is elected the Wisconsin mandate by the electorate in 2010 in this state will be negated by the WI Supreme Court and the unions will have won.
I live in a hardcore conservative area and discovered today that my Prosser yardsign was mutilated and thrown into one of my plantings.
Pray for Wisconsin and for Prosser's election!
Waupaca went republican 59/40 in ‘04.
Don’t worry it’s in the bag - for someone.
Judging from the majority of yard signs I see while driving through Waupaca County on my way to Wausau, I think it’s pretty solidly conservative; however, I’m open to correction on that.
Dane cast 220,000 votes in the gubernatorial election and have already cast 170,000 today. That’s a lot of turnout compared to any other county. Milwaukee cast 340,000 in that election and less than 200k today with less precincts left than Dane.
thanks
FReeper farlander has the solution to that problem.
FWIW, Waupaca County gave Walker approximately a 3500 vote margin in his election. That should be good news for Prosser.
Can't begin to tell you guys how much I want to be wrong about my earlier projection.
You know, all this holding up reporting of votes is for the birds. It is so old-fashioned and it remains only to allow cheating. I say we have to stop it all. No human hands on these votes. Just vote and it is instantly reported—just not announced until the polls close, and then it is over in an instant. What is done now is just Bull-_____!
The AP has fixed it now, but that's where the 35,000-vote margin came from.
Brilliant! Really glad to know that, thanks; glimmers of hope.....

‘I suspect the feeling in the air today is about the same as what the feeling in the air was in 1859. We know what happened in 1861.”
I compare it more to the Roman Republic around 50 BC, while Julius Caesar was conquering Gaul, preparing to return to Rome. Some years after my namesake’s rule - (see my homepage). The American Civil War was almost completely about sectional differences.
If Prosser loses, I have to wonder why God didn’t answer our prayers.
If we lose this....it's OVER! We couldn't even hang on to a victory for 6 MONTHS!
RECOUNT..

To all those conservatives who don’t vote because they figure their vote won’t count...
Words escape me.
