But what’s up with Catholic priest and other Catholic officials chiming in on proper levels of government spending?
They've apparently become so accustomed to the government taking over the church's domain of charity for the poor that they've forgotten the days when the Church and other private institutions were a major force for lifting up the downtrodden.
And where are all the cries from the left about how such an event would "violate the wall of separation between church and state?" Oh wait, the "bishop" is trolling for something the left supports, so that makes it OK.
