The saddest thing of all regarding Brown is that "tea partiers" here in Massachusetts (not all) are backing him and saying, "at least he's better than the alternative" and, "he's the best you can expect in Massachusetts." And the state GOP is completely clueless, during the last election cycle there were memos sent out to committee women and men to keep the tea party folks (the real ones) away from the convention and away from any decision making.

Instead of having the courage of one's convictions, they are willing to settle for the "lesser of two evils" and to make excuses for anyone with an "R" next to their name. That makes these people part of the problem rather than part of the solution. The average voter looks at these "moderates" and they see two of the same. They're better off voting for the dem that at least knows how to manipulate the system.

Believe it or not these people are actually considering that he may be a "good choice" to run for pres. They are all over Romney, trying to put the blame for Romneycare on the dems.

This is happening all over the nation, look at Boehner, McCain, Grahahm, Snowe etal.

You are 100% correct. The “lesser evil” voting mentality has doomed this nation.

But just wait until 2012, then we’ll really take this country back!

How’s that good old ballot box working out for you, America?
