From certain perspective points, I see myself as a vile, reprehensible, and disgusting man.

From other perspective, I see myself as a surviving person descended from vile reprehensible disgusting men who survived to breed based on those very necessary traits.

Horror is what it is. Spare me the bull$hit about morality and how I am a frigging freak of nature. The reverse is in fact the case.

Morality dictates a resort to the harshness of justice and the reality of nature in any given circumstance. Being nice to kittens and crying about the horrors one is unwilling to stop with more than words is not morality, it is a walking talking causality in the end. Hopefully before it breeds.

Anyone working in Afghanistan for the UN should have been informed before the fact that it was a suicide mission.

I agree with you 100% on the harsh realities of Afghanistan. And I agree with you completely as to what the response should be to the barbarism there. I, too, can and would be a vile man if I found myself in a terrible situation.

However, I will never be glib about a human being being butchered alive by a sub-human.

But that’s just me.
