No so much a religion of hate, just a religion with haters. Mostly uneducated, Radical Mullah taught followers. The world has its good people and bad people who hide behind a facade of religion. Its not the religion so much as it is the hate of the minority of the followers that are allowed to take control. You have to realize that these people have nothing but their religion, that restricts them from experiencing other outside activities. When you see things like this occurring, it is understandable to wish for the Hammer of Thor to come down upon them.
Politically, economically and socially, Afghanistan is rushing pell-mell from the 12th to the 13th century.
Could just be sexually repressed. Burning anyone’s religious books is just plain dumb and serves no purpose but this reaction is obviously insane.
You have not studied the religion and its history sufficiently.
It *IS* the religion. It is *NOT* a “Religion of Peace”.
What it really is, is a totalitarian political system that hides behind the beard of religion.
