Sorry FRiend, but your logic is convuluted on this one. Whether or not Qaddafi needs to go is one thing; who we’re supporting is quite another thing, regardless of what Qaddafi and his son have done since Obomba was elected as President.

Qaddafi killed 189 of our citizens at Lockerbie. Qaddafi killed our servicemen in Germany. Qaddafi has released all of the Al Qaeda associated LIFG fighters from his prisons over the last two year and Qaddafi has told them to head back to Iraq and Afghanistan to wage jihad.

My position, regardless of what ever the hell Obama is doing, is that we should remove the terrorist Qaddafi and that we should remove all Al Qaeda that we find.

Anything short of that is appeasement.

Actually, anything short of that is making peace. Especially given that Gaddafi gave up his nukes and stopped sponsoring terrorist attacks against us. The North Vietnamese killed 60K of our men. The Chinese killed 100K, directly via the Korean War, and indirectly via the Vietnam War (via providing supplies, shelter and training for the North Vietnamese and inserting a tripwire force of 100K PLA troops to discourage US incursions into North Vietnam that could have won the war). If Gaddafi deserves to be toppled, what do the North Vietnamese and the Chinese deserve for us not to be called appeasers, given that they killed hundreds of times more Americans than Gaddafi did?

The AQ “rebels” are now fighting against Qadaffi. I think he’s is a tyrant, but that doesn’t mean I support “rebels” that we have no idea about, let alone funding them and giving them air support.

You may have missed it, FRiend, but NATO today warned these “rebels” that unless they stop killing civilians, they will be Obombed as well.
